Why this guide exists

Matcha Flavoured changes enough of Minecraft survival that familiar advice can become actively misleading. New players often need a small answer—where the download belongs, why an item looks wrong, or what the next early-game step is—before they are ready to explore the larger design. This guide is organized around those player moments rather than the internal directory structure of the data pack.

The site uses Matcha Flavored as its primary American-English spelling because that is how many players search. Matcha Flavoured remains the official project name and appears throughout the site. Both spellings always refer to the same project by klei_wright.

What counts as evidence

The strongest sources are the current release file, its player-visible recipes and advancements, and the creator's Modrinth project and version notes. Community posts can reveal where players are confused, but they are not treated as permanent documentation. A community claim is checked against the current pack before it becomes prescriptive guidance.

Every main guide names the pack and Minecraft version used for verification. When a release changes behavior, the version history should preserve the distinction instead of silently presenting an old answer as current. Exact recipes are written in player-facing language; implementation-only item identifiers are not presented as commands or normal obtainable items.

Downloads point to the official Modrinth project; this site does not mirror the zip or claim ownership of project artwork, names, or code. Minecraft is a trademark of Microsoft. The Matcha Flavoured data pack remains the work of its creator under the license linked from the official project.

The site may eventually use clearly separated advertising to fund research and hosting. Advertising will not decide conclusions, reorder fixes, or turn a speculative answer into a recommendation.
